Description
Up for bids here is this vintage 1930s or 1940s tube radio. This working radio would make an excellent prop for any play or movie. This is the Gilfillan Model 66-AM radio and measures 15 inches long 9 inches tall and 9 inches deep. It weighs 16 pounds due to its beautiful solid wood construction.
I turned it on and it powered up fine and tuned into several stations. It has no cracks or major damage, just minor scratches and dins from normal use over the years.
Recovered from the Glendale area near Hollywood, a location with an extensive movie shooting history. See photos for more details.

Shipping & Insurance?
All items are shipped immediately after payment is received. Most items under 3 pounds are shipped via US Post Office, heavier items are shipped FedEx. All books, videos, and cds are shipped via Media Mail unless otherwise stated in the auction. Shipping insurance ($1.85 for items up to $100.00) is strongly recommended and if your item does get damaged in the mail. We insure through a third party company (we started using them after a bad experience with the post office). If you item does get damaged we are able to process claims immediately. If you choose not to purchase insurance, we are not responsible for damage during transit. Take confidence in my perfect feedback score and good luck.
