Attention ladies and gentlemen! Allow me to direct your attention to this next item up for bids! .....
ITEM: Paramount Pictures "The Untouchables" lot of 6 TV scripts, 1 Call Sheet, and 2 research history manuals that belonged to Byrne Piven, Jeremy's father, who played "Johnny Torrio" in the series and 1 script that belonged to his wife Joyce Piven, who played "Patricia Pagano" in one episode.
DATE: 1993-1994
PRODUCT INFO: This is a group lot of 6 scripts and 2 research manuals that belonged to Jeremy Piven's parents, Byrne Joyce. I purchased these at a local antique store a few years ago. The Pivens were from Chicago and I was told that the booth dealer knew the family personally when I inquired as to why they were selling these scripts. After doing some research on IMDB.com, The Untouchables was a short lived Emmy Nominated series that was highly regarded but never really found it's audience on TV. Here's a breakdown of what you'll get:
a) The Pilot (3rd revised draft): Script dated 9/23/92
b) "Pagano's Folly": Script dated 1/29/93. This belonged to Joyce Piven and has some handwritten script adjustments and notes on several pages.
c) "Atlantic City": Script dated 4/12/93.
d) "Death Taxes, pt. 1": Script dated 2/14/94 (This 2 parter was the final episode of the series) This has some handwritten notations on the back as well as the interior pages
e) "Death Taxes, pt. 2": Script dated 2/26/94 (There are 2 identical scripts but one has "Fermatevi" written in black on one. Not sure of the significance)
f) "Death Taxes, pt 1" Television Call Sheet: This is interesting because it has all the dates, times, cast list, and some more last minute script changes.
g) "The Untouchables" book by Eliot Ness Oscar Fraley. Xeroxed copy for the cast so they can read it and be familiar with the storyline and history.
h) Paramount / Untouchables Research Dept. Xeroxed information on Al Capone and the Chicago mobsters. LOTS of real, factual history in these pages.
CONDITION: VG. Some pages have hand written adjustments and notations, presumably by Mr Mrs. Piven.

Shipping:
The high bidder is to pay for all shipping, handling, delievery confirmation, and insurance fees. Insurance is optional at your discretion but is strongly suggested. I can honestly say I've never had to make any insurance claims with any of my previous sales. Fees will be determined by your location and there's a calculator below to do that. (Please do not ask me to do this for you because I won't. That's what it's there for.) I will package this item with the utmost care and consideration for maximum security and protection. However, I am not responsible for any lost or damaged packages once they leave my possession. See my feedback for proof and assurance. I will ship to any worldwide location on this auction!
International bidders: Please keep in mind that unless you ship via UPS (which has worldwide locations and tracking capabilites) the US postal service does not and cannot track any packages outside the USA. The US postal service does not govern any other post office other than it's own in the USA. For whatever reason, customs can sometimes hold up packages for up to 2 months. All items sent from me have computer generated labels that have clear and easy to read addresses. If you do not receive your package within 7-10 days from the time it shipped, do not be alarmed. Once the package is shipped, I have no control over how it gets to you. The best guarantee I can personally offer you is that all packages are well wrapped, all labels are easy to read, and the packages are shipped in a timely manner. Please ask all questions before bidding.

Payment:
Payment is expected within 3 days once the auction has ended. I accept PayPal on this sale only. The item will be shipped out ASAP once payment has been received in full. If payment has not been received within 3 days without any contact or at least a reasonable excuse, the item will be relisted without notice or offered to another bidder. Please do not bid on this item and then not complete the transaction. Be fair to me, who has to pay the eBay listing fees, and be fair to the other bidders as well.
