The year was 1830, in Middle Europe. It was the dawn of a new age. Marvelous inventions and discoveries were starting to shape the future.
The Baron Charles Frankenstein had his eyes clearly focused on that future. A doctor of medicine, he was young, brilliant and thoroughly audacious. He dared to believe the unbelievable, to conceive for himself what others believed to be the realm of the Deity--the creation of life.
Ousted from the university faculty and condemned to the loneliness of a freethinker, the Baron pursued the impossible from the confines of his ancestral castle. His first creation was less than perfect--a grotesque creature of ominous strength.
In time, Dr. Frankenstein attempted the perfection of his idea in the form of a woman, a female counterpart for his male creation. Amidst a maelstrom of harnessed lightning, the gauze-wrapped body of a girl was jolted to life. The creation was stunningly beautiful, exceptional in every respect.
The impetuous male creature, Viktor, could barely be contained, so anxious was he to meet his intended. But his clumsy, awkward manner terrified his newly created mate. His humiliation turned to rage as he destroyed the doctor's laboratory, fleeing the castle in shame.
Alone and battered, the creature takes to the road, where he meets a plucky dwarf named Rinaldo. Once in Budapest, Rinaldo finagles the two of them jobs with a rag-tag circus, where these unlikely allies develop a deep and heartfelt friendship.
Dr. Frankenstein now begins to teach his newest and most lovely creature. But with education, her curiosity grows. She wonders who she is, where she has come from, and begins to question men's ideas and institutions. While the Baron may possess here, there is one thing the young doctor cannot claim: her soul.

This kit is in good condition. The binder has some wear around the edges but the contents are in excellent condition.
