This is an ecclectic mix of memorabilia... They all tie in together though. Sunny Sund who was the ex wife
of Don the Beachcomber and friend of Roy Rogers. Well Sunny took over operations of the Don the Beachcomber restaurant
while Don was in WWII. She is the one responsiple for it becoming a franchise. Well she was really into showing horses. From what I have
researched she took care of Roy Rogers' horses. So included in this lot are some doodles that Roy Rogers drew for Sunny and her daughter Karen.
The pictures are of Karen Sund, Sunny's daughter. Also included is a Beachcomber menu with price changes and some of the food books. There is
a post card addressed to Karen Sund but he directed it towards Dale. It says on thepostcard Hi Dale: Honey this is the only Palomino I could find so be
sure + Feed him plenty of oats. Hows Trigger? Buttermilk + Pat? Will see you soon say hello to miss Cox. Love Roy It is postmarkd July 11th 1955 from
Phoenix Ariz. It does have some sort of watermarking on the side. The doodles some of which are signed by Roy with silly horse doodles. One of Don the Beaches
