This unique poem about Red Skelton is one of many "Celebrity Pic-Poems" written by the same poet. Each poem is written in a Traditional, easy to understand style as you can see this one is. This particular poem is a Shakespearean Sonnet.
This poem is the poet wondering, as he watches a Red Skelton show, if a comedian laughs when he/she is all by himself/herself.... Although Red Skelton has passed on, it is purposely written in the present tense, because he is representative of all comedians in this poem.
On the left inside of the card is the poem; on the right inside of the card is a nice photo of Red; and on the outside of the card is a little information about Red Skelton (brief bio) and some words about the poem.
Its dimensions are-8 inches high and 10 inches wide. It is laminated to give it a beautiful glossy appearance and to protect it forever!
To my knowledge, these are one of a kind poems, making them VERY RARE! Your "Red" poem is a wonderful addition for your collection of Red Skelton memorabilia!
MAKES A PERFECT GIFT FOR A BIRTHDAY, CHRISTMAS, VALENTINE'S DAY, ANNIVERSARY, ETC.!!!!

Making Others Laugh
I watch his show, quite often, on TV,
And as he’s there performing for a crowd,
There’s not an episode—not one—that he
Just doesn’t leave me laughing long and loud!
For each and every character he plays
(Like, Willie Lump-Lump, San Fernando Red,
Kadiddlehopper, with his country ways,
The hobo where not one word’s ever said,
And many others), he does each one well.
And he himself will many times engage
In laughter at a funny joke he’ll tell.
He’ll end his show by falling off the stage.
Although he’s still the funniest man known,
I wonder if he cries when he’s alone.
