This listing is for a pair of SUPERB original chirashi flyers for the Japanese cinema release of PENELOPE, starring Christina Ricci, James McAvoy, Reese Witherspoon and Catherine O' Hara.
This listing is for one piece of EACH of BOTH of the Japanese chirashi mini-posters - one 26cm x 19cm, and one a concertina foldout (see picture!). Full colour mint condition, of course! Beautiful graphics, perfect for framing!
Postage will be ONLY $4 worldwide air mail for any number of flyers or add other sets for no extra postage (or add optional insurance for insured, trackable EMS postage). Postage to Italy will be by EMS ONLY - $12 - please add the optional insurance. Apologies for the pathetic state of your post office and / or customs!

For protection, all flyers are always shipped flat inside a plastic file, backed by cardboard, and inside a paper envelope, and package is clearly marked Fragile - Please do not Bend!
CHIRASHI - some basic information:
In Japan, these flyers are known as chirashi, and they are distributed by Japanese film companies, usually in cinemas but also in other locations sometimes, to promote forthcoming films. Often, especially for a film that is expected to be popular, there are two different chirashi created for each film. The earlier version, sometimes released literally months in advance of the opening of the film, is designed to raise awareness. This is often followed by a second version, distributed closer to the film's actual Japanese release date. In rare cases there are more than two types, but it is quite unusual.
Some of these flyers are VERY limited, others readily available in many locations, but all are the same - when it comes to the release date of the film, all chirashi are returned to the film companies, or destroyed.
All chirashi measure approximately 19cm x 26cm, and often feature unique graphics and, almost ALWAYS, great Japanese text unseen by American audiences. Great for framing, they can make inexpensive little masterpieces on your walls, or an economical and interesting collection, that is easy to store!
