This auction is for an invitation to a celebrity portraits photography exhibit of the work of world-famous photographer, Terry O'Neill, titled "Follow in the Footsteps of the Stars" at the Atlas Gallery in London.
Terry O'Neill has produced portraits of some of the most famous faces of the modern era. His ability to capture both the stature and spirit of his celebrity subjects has earned him international acclaim.
This invitation was to an exhibit of his work in London in 2003.The invitation features Paul Newman and Brigitte Bardot.
This invitation was produced as an invitation mailer and was never sold on the retail market. As such it is very rare and quite collectible.
This is a single-fold, heavy cover stock invitation. Folded the dimensions are 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and the dimensions when opened are 11 6/8" x 8 1/4". The invitation is in excellent condition.
