Of all the comics born on earth
Since Eve’s first daughter had her birth,
There’s one choice legend I recall:
She’s still the funniest of all!
There’re many others, like Burnett;
And Radner we cannot forget.
But this one makes me “climb the wall”:
She’s still the funniest of all!
There’re Bernhard, Whoopi, and Mae West,
Bette Midler, Rivers, of the best.
Beside her, they’re not quite as tall:
She’s still the funniest of all!
She might jump on a pogo stick;
Eat chocolates until she’s sick;
Or down some steps she just might fall. . . .
She’s still the funniest of all!
She makes me laugh so hard I cry
And her reruns will never “die.”
