Up for bid from the Western Television series, BROKEN ARROW is a John Lupton NOTEBOOK TABLET. This 1950’s school tablet cover John Lupton wearing a leather stitched jacket and light blue bandana scarf. The caption in the lower left corner reads in light print: John Lupton TOM JEFFORDS. The red seam across the top is stamped with the 10-cent price. Tablet measures 7 ¾ inches x 10 inches, and it has approximately 12 pages. © Litho U.S.A.
This tablet is in good condition. Never used and complete; no tears. There is some age discoloration to the inside paper. There is a very thin and light 3” abrasive line, 2” up from bottom. The one pictured is the one being offered. Nice color to cover.
This is the last John Lupton tablet I will have available for bid. It is from a collection I have been offering up of tablets and filler paper from the 1940’s and 1950’s of movie and television stars.
In BROKEN ARROW, Indian Agent, Tom Jeffords, worked with the Apache Chief, Cochise, played by Michael Ansara. BROKEN ARROW ran on the ABC Network form 1956-1958.
