This Playbill is for E. H. SOTHERN and JULIA MARLOWE under the personal direction of LEE SHUBERT in SHAKESPEARE PLAYS at the SHUBERT GREAT NORTHERN THEATER in CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. It is for three weeks beginning Monday, January 7, 1924. Shakespeare plays that were performed those weeks were Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, hamlet, The Taming of The Shrew and The Merchant of Venice. It includes a full page ad for AL JOLSON in BOMBO at A. H. Woods APOLLO Theater.
The playbill is 7 1/2 inches high by 5 1/4 inches wide. The program is in very good condition. There is a faint crease down the middle. All pages are intact. The edges are slightly worn. There are a number of ads for Chicago businesses.
Payment by money order, cashier's check or Paypal. NO personal checks. Payment is due within 7 days of close of auction. Shipping by first class mail within 48 hours of receipt of payment.
