Country’s Couple
"Tim is the lucky one," I'd say.
I’d take his place just any day:
But Faith, I’m sure, would rather be
With Tim instead of here with me:
For she feels she’s the lucky one
To have a guy that’s so much fun
And wears a leather cowboy hat.
What girl could ask for more than that?
I know the gals agree with Faith:
That Tim, he’s first, not sixth, not eighth . . .
But all the guys and I attest:
Among the gals, Faith is the best!
