From 1980 comes a press kit for the Walt Disney film THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS. In addition to the usual production info, cast list and bios, folder, etc, contains eleven (11) 8" x 10" Black and White Studio Produced Stills. Sent to me as West Coast Editor of Fantastic Films magazine. They are in MINT condition, the folder, etc. NEAR MINT.
The Watcher in the Woods is a 1980 thriller film from Disney. It was based on the 1976 novel by Florence Engel Randall. It is a live action movie that, though predominantly a family oriented work, is also a mystery, thriller, horror, and science fiction. The Watcher in the Woods is also well-known for its notorious rewrites, reshoots, and recuts (including the film's original opening credits and conclusion) after being pulled from theatres in 1980. It was rereleased in 1981.
