Bway Cabaret Revival Linden Bergen sign production pic
Polly Bergen (Follies) and Hal Linden (Barney Miller) have signed this black and white 8" x 10" photo of them in the hit revival of CABARET. Bergen replaced Mary Louise Wilson as landlady Fraulein Schneider, while Linden played the role of Herr Schulz (the suitor who wins her with a pineapple) taking over from Ron Rifkin. A 1971 Tony Award winner for The Rothschilds, Lindens Broadway credits include Bells are Ringing (1956), Im Not Rappaport (1985) and The Sisters Rosensweig (1993). Bergens career stretches over almost 60 years and includes an Emmy-winning turn as a tragic torch singer in The Helen Morgan Story (1957) to a recurring role on the TV series "Commander-in-Chief."
