Broadway 42nd Street revival Leavel cast signed poster
One of Broadway Cares' most anticipated events is the annual Flea Market and Grand Auction which takes place every September (this year it is Sunday, September 21st) in Shubert Alley just off of Times Square. Many theatrical treasures can be found IF you are lucky enough to be in Times Square on that date. In an effort to reach out to those who are not able to make it into New York City but want to feel as though they are a part of the fun, we are running ourfifth (hopefully annual) special "FLEABAY" auction through the monthof September featuring at least100 items that are typical of our true Broadway Flea Market finds. From authentic costumes to unique opening night gifts, from scripts to rare posters, many items featured are the only ones we have received. Here is your chance to get in on the "auction action" from the comfort of your very own home. To accommodate as many items as quickly as possible, these items will have a more brief description than our usual eBay items. We are therefore counting on our reputation as well as the discriminate tastes of our knowledgeable bidders to get the bids up. Get your bids in quick before they are going, going, ............GONE!
LOT #4 - You may have heard the beat of dancing feet and now that those dancing feet are a part of Broadway history, you may wish to have this keepsake. Measuring a standard 14" x 22", this poster/window card has been signed by the cast that included Dukes Of Hazzard's Tom Wopat (A Catered Affair), Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), David Elder (Curtains) and Kate Levering who played Peggy Sawyer. Ms. Leavel has the rare distinction of not only starring in this revival of 42nd Street but also starred in the original production as Annie. A real class act and after all..what do you go for , to see a show for, tell the truth you go to see those beautiful dames...and she is certainly is one.
