The2FunAdGuyz offer a new, high-quality reproduction print of an 1896 comedy called At Gay Coney Island. The play starred the comedy team of Mathews Bulger. The poster shows the two comedians standing on the back of an elephant who has a cloth over his back that says: Coney’s Greatest Attraction. Below the elephant is a caption that states My Trunk is Full of Things.
A separate blurb calls the play The Polite Comic Play. Levis C Tees was the playwright. A.M. Miller and Fred Peel are shown as the directors.
This is a fantastic collectible for elephant lovers and for those looking for unique or unusual theater memorabilia.
