We have some nice Broadway items in this auction.
First we have a couple of Playbill items. We have a Playbill Tray, metal, with a Sanka coffee logo on the back. It's dated 1977-1978 and on the back is a list of all of the productions from that season. The front has pictures of the playbills on it. It has some scratches, paint missing in a few areas, some dirt that might come off with some gentle washing. Next, I'm selling a duplicate autograph that I rec'd at the Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids signing table. It is a copy of the Playbill for "Broadway Bound." This is from Dec, 1986. It is signed on the cover by Phyllis Newman, who played Blanche in the production. The cast also included Linda Lavin, and a young Jason Alexander, and it includes pictures of them. The Playbill is in good condition, but the cover has started to come loose along the spine. Back cover has a fold, slight smudge on front. Last, we have a copy of "Forty-Five Minutes Past Eight," by Ward Morehouse. This is from Dial Press, copyright 1919 and I guess it could be the first edition. This is a book about Broadway, back in the thirties. Cover is really quite clean, but there is wear on corners and along the spine. Pages have a few spots, but overall in nice clean shape We are sending Priority Flat rate box, a bit more then Parcel post but much faster and safer. Buyers outside of the US should be prepared to pay with Paypal. Payment is expected within 10 days of end of sale.
