This item is a previously read back issue of American Movie Classics magazine. The magazine is in fair to good condition. NOTE: Back schedule pages has a couple of movie descriptions cut out - this does not affect any of the articles.
The magazine (and channel guide) is from August 1993 and features Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard on the cover (and includes an article about the AMC show Hollywood on Hollywood - hosted by Ron Howard).
The articles in this magazine INCLUDE: The Saenger Performing Arts Center (in New Orleans, Louisiana), "The Actor's Canvas" (about Charlton Heston playing Michelangelo), Festival (Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy), Exclusively AMC: Jason Robards Jr. Remembers, It was Rumored (Edward G. Robinson in "Tales of Manhattan", "The Hunchback of Norte Dame" with Charles Laughton, Samuel Goldwyn's making "I Want You" and Charlton Heston on location of "The Agony and the Ecstasy"), Letters to Bob Dorian (Sammy Davis Jr.), and the schedule to AMC for the month. Back cover features a great photograph of Clark Gable in "Soldier of Fortune", one of the features for next month.
