Up for bid are 3 programs and 2 supplements from Casa Manana in Fort Worth, Texas. A description of each follows: 1. “Camelot” – Dated July 19-July 31, 1965. The program cost Fifty Cents and includes a supplement which was handed out to all patrons. The cast included Johnny Simons (who later went on to form the famous Hip Pocket Theatre), Don Shook, Ronnie Headrick, Jan Moody, Ted Scott. Melvin Dacus was General Manager of the theatre at the time. The program is filled with ads for various Fort Worth businesses such as Italian Inn, The Baron Club, Virgle’s La Barn, Dr. Pepper, Jimmie Dips, Zuider Zee, and many more! 2. “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum” – Dated Aug. 16-Aug. 28, 1965. The program includes a supplement handed out to all patrons. The cast included R. G. Webb, Nell Evans, Diana Eden, Michael Quinn, Johnny Sullivan, and Leonard Drum. The program is filled with ads for various Fort Worth businesses such as Ernest Allen Chevrolet, Dr. Pepper, Coke, The Office Private Club, Margo Dean’s School of Ballet, KXOL, The Creole House, Leonard’s Privately Owned Subway, and many more. 3. “The King and I”- Dated Aug. 30-Sept. 11, 1965. The cast includes Mace Barrett, Willi Burke, Frances Junger, Ned Van Zandt, Don Shook, R. G. Webb. There are ads for many area Fort Worth businesses such as Buddies, Baldwin Piano Co., Der Schornsteinferger, Leonard’s Subway, Goldstein Bros., and KFJZ Radio, among many others. These are some very nice programs in great condition. They have about 34 pages and measure 8 ½” x 11”.
